These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of this website, http://www.constanceinteriors.co.uk/. By accessing this website and/or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Definitions: The Seller - means Assortrading Ltd t/a Constance Interiors.

The Buyer - means the person, partnership, firm or company which places the order with the seller. The Goods - means the article, things or items described in the order.

The Order - means the order placed by the buyer for the supply of the goods.  

SHIPPING

Delivery covers mainland England, Scotland and Wales. 

Most of the Items are usually dispatched within 7 - 15 days of purchase.

Please allow up to 21 days for delivery of certain products, as our driver may not have sufficient shipments to deliver in your area, although this rarely happens. Delivery covers mainland England, Scotland and Wales. However delivery of furniture to Scottish Highlands, non-mainland UK and some parts of Wales (i.e. BT, AB, DD, DG, EH, FK, G, KA, KY, ML, PH, TD, TS, CA, LA, TQ, TR, EX, PL, SY, NP, GY, HS, IM, AB, IV, JE, KW, LD, ZE and parts of LL, PA, SA and SY) will incur additional surcharge. If you are unsure please contact us before buying.

 Upon payment, it is crucial that you send a contact phone number to us, so that our staff can reach you when scheduling delivery. Once your payment has been received the goods will be dispatched within 7-15 working days. Out of stock items may take up to 12 weeks lead time 

Unfortunately, we are unable to facilitate customer collections.

Please allow up to 21 days for delivery in certain circumstances, as our driver may not have sufficient shipments to deliver in your area, although this rarely happens. Our standard delivery time is Monday to Friday from 9.30 am up till 5.30 pm. Please inform us of any days when you may not be available at home to accept delivery. If the first delivery attempt is unsuccessful, a charge of £10.00 per consignment will be raised for each subsequent delivery attempt. Please note that our standard delivery is to your main door or ground floor entrance, and hence, we cannot accept responsibility for any damage caused to the property and/or item(s) purchased where access is restricted. We have made effort to provide clear measurements for all our items.  Please check that all the goods you have ordered will fit into your home. It is essential that you check the measurements of all access areas e.g. doorways, hallways, stairs, stairwells and within the area of intended use, to ensure delivery access will not restrict delivery.

NOTICE FOR CUSTOMER DELIVERY & SIGNATURE

UPON DELIVERY OF YOUR ITEM (S) BY OUR COURIER PARTNERS (i.e. FEDEX, PARCEL FORCE, SILVERSPRINT, ROYAL MAIL, ETC), PLEASE ENSURE YOU UNPACK & CHECK YOUR GOODS. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THAT ITEMS DELIVERED ARE UNPACKED AND CHECKED FOR POSSIBLE DAMAGES BEFORE PROVIDING SIGNATURE TO THE DRIVER; OTHERWISE YOU ARE WAIVING YOUR RIGHT OF REFUND/REPLACEMENT.

International delivery

Purchases made from and deliveries outside the EU will not be liable for VAT; however other local customs charges may apply and are the customer’s responsibility. Shipping charges will be quoted with the full delivery address, area code and nearest port, please call or email us to discuss before placing your order.

Returns

If you are unhappy with the product, you are entitled to a refund providing that we are informed by email within 7 days of delivery. The cost of returning any goods must be covered by the buyer. Therefore the refund will be issued minus the cost of returning the goods, and a 20% admin charge.

Damages

Please note that it is customer responsibility to ensure that all upon delivery all goods must be unpack and checked before providing signature to the driver; otherwise you are waiving your right of refund/replacement.

Where item arrives damaged, it must be reported to us via email within 24 hours of delivery. Please send photographic evidence of all damage. Please note that if your item arrives faulty or damaged, we will either offer a refund, repair or replacement of the item, and we reserve the right to offer these solutions at our discretion.

 

Order Cancellation

Please note that you are entitled to cancel your order if you so wish, provided you exercise your right no longer than seven working days after the day on which you receive the products. If you wish to exercise your right to cancel the order prior to order despatch, please contact our customer support team on

info@constanceinteriors.co.uk. If your order has already been despatched please follow the procedure set out in Returns Policy.

 

Placing an Order

By placing an order with Constance Interiors, you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these terms and conditions. By placing an order via this website you are making an offer to Constance Interiors to purchase the goods detailed in your order upon the terms described in your order. We will send you a confirmation that your order has been received, but this is not a confirmation that your offer to purchase the goods has been accepted. A contract between you and Constance Interiors for the sale of our products will only exist once an order has been accepted, processed and confirmed to you.

Your credit/debit card will be authorised when your order is placed and processed. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Prices and availability of goods are subject to change without notice.

A delivery charge will be added to your order value where appropriate; please see our ‘DELIVERY & RETURN’ page for delivery charges.

 

Your Order Confirmation

We will send you a confirmation email detailing the precise order received. Please check this confirmation carefully and advise us immediately on 01189 594 644 if there are any errors.

 

Payment

Payment for all orders is at point of confirmation of order.

Constance Interiors accepts all major credit cards, Visa, MasterCard, Switch/Maestro, Delta and Solo cards through Sage Pay (except Amex).

All transactions are shown in pounds sterling (£).

All prices are inclusive of VAT (where applicable) at the current rates, and are correct at the time of entering the information onto the system. The total cost of your order is the price of the products ordered and additional delivery / shipping charge.

You will confirm that the credit or debit card that is being used is yours. All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery. We reserve the right to withdraw any products from this website at any time, and/or remove or edit any materials or content on this website. We may refuse to process a transaction for any reason, or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawing any product from this website, whether or not that product has been sold.

Ensure that a delivery address in the United Kingdom is specified. Please note that PO Box numbers, hotels and accommodation addresses are not acceptable.

 

Product Pricing, Descriptions & Images

All prices published are in pounds sterling and are inclusive of European Union sales tax at the prevailing rate. Each product purchased is sold subject to its Product Description which sets out additional specific conditions related to that product including, without limitation, terms and conditions concerning estimated delivery dates.

We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the Website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. Although we aim to keep the Website as up to date as possible, the information, including Product Descriptions, appearing on this Website at a particular time may not always reflect the position at the exact moment you place an order. The images shown online are for illustration purposes only. Many products are also shown with additional props but these are not included in the sale of a product unless otherwise specified.

Colours and Shades

We make every effort to ensure colours appear as realistic as possible. However, due to the constraints of digital reproduction on different web browsers, we cannot guarantee exact colour depiction. Please be aware that the actual colour you see on the screen may differ to those of your ordered products. Every care is taken to ensure descriptions and measurements are accurate, however slight variations may occur. Packaging may vary from that shown.

Sale Item Disclaimer

We have very limited stock of our sale items, and we will not be taking back orders on any of these items. Due to the fact our stock levels are updated once every 24 hours a product may sell out during time you have placed your order and when we try to fulfil it. If this does happen we will contact you within 2 days with an alternative item or refund your money.

Promotional Code Disclaimer

You can use published promotional codes through our order line and website only and not in conjunction with any other offer. You can participate in offers once only. P&P, gift vouchers and sale items are excluded from offers. These offers are not for resale or publication and only apply to personal orders with all orders being subject to acceptance under Constance Interiors’s standard terms and conditions. Orders that are considered to be commercial may be excluded from the offer.

We do not compromise quality unlike many retailers we strive to bring you the best in quality and the highest standards available. Because all items sold by Constance Interiors  are fully compliant with British Furniture Regulations and standards.

Protecting your floors and providing for a safe delivery.

It is the customer's responsibility to provide protective floor coverings if, for instance, there are lightly coloured carpets. Constance Interiors cannot be held liable for damage caused to your home if brought to our attention retrospectively (i.e. after the delivery team has vacated your property).

Please note that assembly of furniture and removal of packaging is not included in the purchase and delivery price. However, we charge £5.00 to taking away your packaging materials.

Privacy & Disclosure

We respect your right to privacy, and that’s the reason at Constance Interiors, we keep your privacy under our hat. None of the information we collect is passed on to other parties, unless it is required as part of the business services we provide for you, or as required under the UK Data Protection Act 1998.

When you place an order from our website we collect certain personal details about you such as your name and address, your email address, telephone number, and various other details necessary to complete a transaction, and fulfil your order. We do not collect any information which may be deemed "sensitive personal data" under the Data Protection Act 1998. All information held is treated as confidential.
