Blue bookcase bedroom

 

A boy’s bedroom designed with predominantly calming blues, accents of emerald green and orange created a vibrant yet tranquil space.

The majority of the brief was to create storage and a generous area for books. We installed bespoke period paneling, a wall of wardrobe storage and a bookcase wall. This provided period character, functionality and style.
 

Details such as an upholstered headboard in orange ticking with emerald piping adds a pop of colour and fun. Orange ticking curtains in the same hue complement the blue tones, and bring the whole space together.

A striped Margo Selby carpet, made into a rug, introduces a playful element, tying in with the striped theme throughout the room. A room that can happily evolve into a teenager’s bedroom.
